How can I join Youth In Action Association

You can join YIAA by filling in a membership form (online or during our events) and expressing your interest in volunteering, training, or mentorship programs. Once registered, you’ll be added to our communication channels (WhatsApp groups) so you can receive updates on meetings, events, and opportunities

What can I do as a member of YIAA?

As a member, you can: - Attend high-performance training sessions and workshops, Participate in mentorship programs and book drives, Volunteer in community donation activities, Help with organizing events, awareness campaigns, or skills development initiatives, Share your talents (tech, design, marketing, writing, teaching) to strengthen the team.

What achievements has YIAA made so far?

Since its founding in 2022, YIAA has: Hosted multiple high-performance training sessions, equipping youths with practical life and career skills, Distributed personal development books through book drives to inspire self-growth, Connected young people with mentors who guide them in education, careers, and personal growth, Supported communities through charity donations and outreach activities, Built a growing network of young changemakers in Harare and beyond.

How can I benefit by joining YIAA?

Can I join if I’m not in Harare or outside Zimbabwe?

Yes! While YIAA is based in Harare, there are ways for you to get involved remotely. You can Join online training or mentorship sessions, Volunteer your skills virtually (design, writing, social media, fundraising), Partner with us to expand YIAA’s reach in your area. YIAA welcomes young people and supporters worldwide who share the vision of empowering youth.

How can I support YIAA if I am not a youth?

Even if you are not within the youth age range, you can still play a vital role in YIAA’s mission. Adults and organizations can: Mentor young people by sharing expertise and life experience, Sponsor programs or donate resources (books, training materials, equipment, or funds), Partner with YIAA on community projects and events, Offer internships or opportunities for youth to gain real-world experience. Your support helps amplify YIAA’s impact and ensures more young people have access to life-changing opportunities.
